What is “The Adventures of Merlin”?
“The Adventures of Merlin” is an action, adventure and fantasy drama that airs on BBC One in the United Kingdom. The show is based loosely on the many Arthurian stories and legends. It is staged in the young adult years of both Merlin and Arthur. The producers state on the first Season 1 DVD set that the world the show takes place in is a fantasy world, which is not intended to be 100% historically accurate.

Has the series been renamed?
No. The international title for the series is "The Adventures of Merlin." The series is still called "Merlin" in the United Kingdom.

We Shana and Jess the webmistresses of Merlin's Keep, although fans of parts of the series will never be tools for or butt-kissers of the series, cast, producers and/or anyone else who works on it or for BBC and Shine. While this site is unbiased in design and content, it and us will never be tools for the series or any of the cast, producers and crew.

If you are the agency, studio or photographer who truly owns any of the images posted here and want them removed, please contact the site before you consider taking legal action so things can be sorted out in a diplomatic manner. Without question, anything you want to be removed will be.

Who founded and runs Far, Far Away?
The site, then called Legendary Heroes World Order, was founded in 1997 by Kent Simmons, who ran it until April 2010. He passed away in June 2010. Tracy Viader, Kent’s second in command for the previous two years, acted as head webmistress until the end of 2010. Felicia Dai is now the head webmistress of Far, Far Away. She maintains all the sites, except for Merlin’s Keep, which is maintained by Jess and Shana. In September 2011, Michael Hall joined the staff of Far, Far Away as an all-around hand.
