Dear Visitors,

As of today I, Tracy Viader, am stepping down as head webmistress of Far, Far Away. I’ve been part of this website team since it was the Legendary Heroes World Order in 1998. I met Kent in real life because of a mutual friend and came on board his site team through Virtual Sinbad, another web project we were both working on at the time. Stepping down is not an easy choice but it's the best one for me.

In April I was going through some financial problems and Kent was gracious enough to let me stay at his place. Not long after that he told me he wanted out of running the entire site, not just Merlin’s Keep, and asked me to take over for him. I thought it was strange he wanted out but did as asked and went right to work on finding someone to take over Merlin’s Keep since I don’t really follow Merlin. Kent requested whoever took over the Merlin site still be a devoted fan and I agreed with him about that. The girls who were supposed to take over Merlin’s Keep left not even a week after they were given the Merlin site.

I was fortunate to get an e-mail from the very eager Shana and Jess not long after I started trying to find someone to run Merlin’s Keep. The girls honestly admitted they didn’t care much for the second season and agreed with some of the things Kent said in his reviews though hoped that wouldn’t deter me from considering them for the job. Since they were very excited about the new season I figured I’d give them a shot. They proved me right and came through because thanks to Merlin's Keep the monthly bandwith limit was reached three months straight. Even though I don’t think we see eye to eye on how the site should be run Merlin’s Keep now belongs to them so I would not have wanted to intervene.

It's been six months since Kent passed away and after everything that's happened I feel it's time I finished moving on from this part of my life. I can afford a place and sell his and I also have to say goodbye to his website because that’s what it always will be to me. I’ve left it to Felicia Dai who has been part of the team since 2009. She will be in charge of renewing the Far, Far Away domain and running the sections that aren’t Merlin’s Keep. Shana and Jess inform me they are sticking with Merlin and will continue running the Merlin section and have exciting news of some kind coming up.

I thank all of you who have been supporters of Far, Far Away. It doesn’t matter if it was since 1997 when the site went up or yesterday. You all have had a part in its growth over the years. It wouldn’t still be around without you.
